Our wedding will take place on March 25, 2016 in Delhi, India! We welcome you to join us for this celebration! However, we understand if you are unable to attend or still unsure.
Wedding will be held at the beautiful Carnival Resort and Motel, located at G.T. Karnal Road, New Delhi, Delhi 110036, India.
We are still working out the details for the ceremony. Information will be posted to this page as it becomes available. We will update you all as soon as we know any details ourselves!
Plan to fly into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) airport a few days before the wedding! We will be arriving in India about a week before, and stay about a week after the wedding.
The ITA Flight Matrix and Google Flights are great tools when booking flights.
PHL, EWR, and JFK offer flights to DEL. Flying out of JFK is often the cheapest solution, but may not be the most accessible. Interestingly, "flights" booked out of 30th Street Station (ZFV) will take you by Amtrak to a layover in EWR. This can sometimes be cheaper than flying directly out of Newark! (Really, try it!)
United States citizens will need a valid passport issued by the State Department, as well as a tourist visa issued by the Government of India in order to enter. Please see the State Department's website for more information on traveling to India.
To obtain or renew a passport, please follow visit the State Department's page on applying for a passport for more information. This process can take 4 to 6 weeks, so get started now!
All visitors to India will need to obtain a visa for entry into India (Indian Passport holders get off easy here, for once!). Thankfully, holders of a United States passport can apply online for a single entry eTourist Visa. The visa should take less than a week for processing, and costs $60 USD.
The CDC provides useful information on the vaccines and medicines you may need when visiting India. Check this list and visit your doctor (ideally, 4-6 weeks) before your trip to get vaccines or medicines you may need!
